The main ethnicity of others were black, then a few Asian and a couple white. I think most people know that white people dont tend to discriminate between skin tones of black people. To them, black is black. It’s black people that constantly label each other yellow, brown, caramel, dark skin etc etc etc. Then of course There is a deep issue of skin tone/caste in the Asian community. This is public information. Why do I need to label everyone? I just mentioned that particular Somalian boy by chance. I’m not raci$t. Dark skinned women are the least racist people on earth.

Yet you chose to single out that 1 individual in your story. You know exactly what you did. You're feeding an existing racial bias against 1 group while expecting sympathy for your struggles. I'm not even Somali and I picked up on it immediately because I see it so often in London especially at schools. It may have not been conscious, but I've seen enough darker skinned black people try to throw Somalis under the bus to get the hate off their own backs. The truth is I don’t know much about Somali people or culture. And I don’t know about the problems they face. All I know is a Somali boy targeted me at random. this situation is not the right situation to be advocating for them, when that boy was clearly in the wrong. Take your spear and shield elsewhere, you are fighting the wrong battle. I think you need to speak up in real life, and in real time. You are taking your frustrations out on me, yet you see hate so often in the schools you go to/work at but say absolutely nothing.

Hi, no you don't need to pay anything if you leave. No sanction, nothing. I think 1 month's notice is okay (that's what I did and what many others do) but many also quit on the same day and leave. You have 100% freedom. Just weigh out the pros and cons for your own situation. I hope this helps & all the very best!

So glad you enjoyed it April 😊 Once I learned the Icelandic alphabet, I found it easier to pronounce words and thus have been able to retain some skill with pronunciation. However, some were are a little more challenging so I simply looked them up. An English pronunciation wouldn't have done them justice at all haha. That video was quite fun to do, but unfortunately I was so new in the country I really hadn't had the full experience of being black in Iceland yet 😅Cool to hear it was featured, though we didn't catch up this time.
